Brampton based Canadian grocery giant Loblaw is making good on a promise to earn back your trust as a customer by giving you a $25 card that can be used at any of their grocery stores. The company, along with George Weston Ltd. announced in December that they had become aware of a bread price fixing arrangement from late 2001 until March 2015.
Canada’s Competition Bureau has been investigating a number of grocers since the Fall including executing search warrants to gather information. There has been no conclusion of wrong doing and no charges have yet been filed.
